The topic we are learning about at the moment is Australian History. Today, Rosey Schultz came to talk to us about Aboriginal culture. She showed us some amazing Aboriginal artifacts. I wonder if any 5KA students can remember some of the things we were shown, and what they are used for…?
First ‘Star of the ‘Week’!
Jayde & Hannah – This week in 5KA, Jayde was the first ‘Star of the Week’. The responsibilities for the Star of the Week are taking the class money bag to the office, taking the library box to the library, wiping the boards and also being the class messenger. You also get to sit on the couch with a friend for a week, you get to have your photo in the Star of the Week photo frame, you get to have the class mascot ‘Wally the Wombat’ on your table and you get to share with the class a presentation about yourself. The way the presentation works is you bring 7 items that describe you, you tell the class about each item and how they are related to you and Krystie Alleaume (our teacher) records you on the computer.
